ARCHITECT + INTERIOR DESIGN PARTNERSHIP
door on the rght was founded on the coming together of two complementary disciplines — architecture and interior design.
One begins with space, structure, proportion and form. The other explores material, detail, emotion and experience. But we believe the strongest spaces are created when these conversations don't happen separately.
At DOTR, they begin together.
From the first sketch to the final detail, architecture and interiors are approached as one continuous design process. One perspective challenges the other. One strengthens the other. And somewhere between the two, a more complete idea emerges.
This partnership allows us to think beyond how a space is built or how it looks — and focus on how it is experienced as a whole.
Perhaps that is why the door became such a natural symbol for DOTR. Two doors. Two disciplines. One opening. One vision.
MEANING AND PHILOSOPHY
Every space begins with a threshold. A moment between what is known and what is yet to be experienced.
For us, the door represents that moment — where an idea becomes architecture, where architecture becomes experience, and where imagination takes form.
It is intentionally left partially open, because great design does not reveal everything at once. It invites curiosity. It creates anticipation. It encourages discovery.
What lies beyond is never predetermined. Every client is different. Every site has its own context. Every space has its own purpose. Every project deserves its own response.
Our philosophy is simple: to create spaces that are thoughtful, individual and enduring — spaces that go beyond the expected, and continue to reveal their meaning over time.
DOTR'S APPROACH TO SPACES & DESIGN
Every decision has a purpose. We design with clarity and meaning.
No two spaces are the same. Every project responds to its people, its context and its own story.
The best ideas emerge through dialogue — between architect and interior designer, client and team, design and craft.
We stay open to new perspectives, materials and possibilities, constantly exploring what lies beyond.
Luxury is not excess. We value simplicity, balance and the power of what is left out.
Details matter. We honour materiality, precision and the human skill that brings a space to life.
We design beyond trends, creating spaces that remain relevant and meaningful over time.
A space is ultimately defined by how it makes you feel.
